That's all changed now with this sleek and sexy update. The lowdown: When the Nintendo DS was first announced it was dismissed by many as a white elephant - with a gimmicky interface and underpowered graphics. Over 15 million sales later and the story is a little different. The DS Lite is fully compatible with all existing Nintendo DS (and Game Boy Advance) games but it's smaller, sleeker and lighter - with a new design that perfectly matches the Nintendo Wii console.  Rating:  - FragileThis is a fun handheld games console but is very fragile the games are quite expensive but the console it's self is a brilliant price. Rating:  - Disappointing.I got this handheld a while ago and eventually I couldn't use it. I went through 3 DS to fix the problem with it I had, and the problem was I had to press down really hard on the diagonals to make them respond. This wouldn't have been so bad, but it made my hand cramp up really badly. I persisted for a while with it thinking it may stop, but if anything it got worse. When it comes to 2D games, then you won't have this problem, but for Mario 64 DS, and Metroid Hunters, it will just ... I placed the order literally within seconds. Read More Rating: - BEWARE NINTENDO DS USERS!You cannot fault the Nintendo DS for its design and gaming experience, except for one flaw. It's durability. I have had my Nintendo DS Lite for just over 12 months and hardly used it in that time, except to train my brain with Dr Kawashima. However, I am disappointed and annoyed that a crack has appeared in the hinge and a green dot on the touch screen, which is noticeable and distracting when playing games with dark images. It's smaller; sturdier; endlessly stylish; has much softer, better buttons; has far better placement of features, especially the microphone and headphone sockets; has a thicker stylus.
