This DVD entertainingly teaches kids how the body works, using animations, diagrams and spoken descriptions. The three main sections make up a multimedia encyclopedia of the body. The Systems Scanner is a good starting point, with short answers to questions such as how do I swallow?. The 3-D Scanner allows you to navigate around a cutaway image of the body, with links to animated videos and statistics about the body's workings. Finally, the X-Ray Scanner displays the skeleton and the names of bones. A multiple choice Body Challenge Quiz tests whether you've been paying attention while browsing. - Very Helpful Reference
I have found this program really helpful, especially throughout my Biology GCSE. If you don't have a lot of space on your computer, you would be better to find something different, or it will take you ages to find the info you want. This program is very detailed and has the skeletal, muscle, circularitory systems and a test feature. If you feel you need to know more about the human body this is a good program because it can be simple/hard, it is fun to operate and the information is up to date, everything ... Read More
