- Great espresso
I used a Starbucks Barista espresso machine happily for years, but it finally gave up the ghost (thanks to the hard water in London) and I was set to replace it, but thought I would give this much cheaper option a try. The espresso is excellent (but no crema). Contrary to the instructions, do use an espresso grind and tamp it gently.

Mine's just arrived, replacing the generic 3-cup I've used off and on for years. Every time I go back to my moka pot from my expresso machine I remembered why I kept it, only catch was a 3-cup pot is not large enough to make a mug of coffee.

An excellent purchase and I would agree with all those who have already posted laudatory remarks.

Can I just add 4 observations

To those who want to know how many cups it provides - We get 295 ml of strong brown liquid from the 6 cup machine ( c. half a pint ).
