I was disappointed in this book. The author feels he has something to contribute, but the more I read of his book, the more I felt that his thinking and advice were superficial and very "layman".

This is a no-nonsense guide to handling people you regard as 'difficult'. Mike Leibling is an experienced coach, trainer and facilitator - and it shows. His book is packed with wise, practical tips. Every manager (yes, I mean every!) should have this book to hand when dealing with difficult people and when seeking to prevent irksome behaviours escalating into entrenched problems.

"How People Tick" is obviously aimed at the business community. However, the book contains so many useful strategies and tips in dealing with "difficult people" that many of the suggested solutions can be applied to personal situations.
